Detailed Description:
Low K PVC (K = 55–60) has reduced viscosity and improved melt flow compared to high K grades. It fuses quickly at lower temperatures, allowing faster production and energy savings. While mechanical strength is slightly lower, it offers excellent dispersion with additives and pigments, making it suitable for films, fittings, profiles, and sheets.
Technical Specifications:
• K-Value 55 – 60
• CaCO₃ (Polymer Purity) ≥ 99.8 %
• Inherent Viscosity 0.60 – 0.80
• Bulk Density 0.50 – 0.58 g/cm³
• Volatile Matter ≤ 0.3 %
• Residual VCM ≤ 2 ppm
• Fusion Behavior Fast, low-temperature
• Applications Injection molding, films, sheets, profiles
