Detailed Description:
D80 is a premium-grade, high-flash-point aliphatic hydrocarbon solvent designed for various industrial and commercial uses. With its narrow distillation range, low aromatic content, and superior solvency characteristics, D80 is ideal for dissolving resins, polymers, oils, and other organic materials.
It is extensively used in the formulation of alkyd-based paints, automotive refinishes, metal protective coatings, industrial cleaning agents, and printing inks. The solvent’s slow evaporation rate allows for better flow and leveling in coating applications, reducing defects like brush marks and bubbles.
D80 is also valued in degreasing and metal-cleaning processes due to its ability to dissolve heavy oils and greases without causing corrosion. Its low odor and low toxicity make it a preferred choice in environments where operator safety and comfort are priorities.
