• It can act as an internal plasticizer, meaning it can copolymerize with vinyl chloride, vinyl acetate, acrylic monomers, etc., becoming chemically bound into the polymer chain.
• Because it becomes part of the polymer network rather than remaining as a free additive, it offers lower volatility, lower migration, and improved permanence of plasticization.
• Common applications include coatings, adhesives, films, rubbers, and polymer blends requiring enhanced flexibility, transparency, and impact resistance.
